Drum birthing

The drum is a sacred tool of shamans around the world, and it is an honour to be the keeper of a drum. It is a living, breathing entity, holding the spirits of the animal and tree that are part of it. Your drum will be your companion in your journeying and healing.

I offer shamanic drum birthing workshops from my home in Cambridgeshire, in which you can craft your own shamanic drum, using all natural materials and traditional methods. Throughout the day, you will also learn about the history, cultural and spiritual significance of drumming and gain a deep understanding of the sacred nature of drums in shamanic work. The drum birthing process is in itself a sacred ceremony and throughout the process of birthing your drum, you will connect with its spirit and learn how you will work together over the coming weeks, months and years.

If you are unable to make any of the published dates, I also offer one-to-one drum or family birthing ceremonies , which can be arranged on mutually convenient dates.
