About the Event
About the workshop
Celebrate the autumn equinox with our Wild Healing Workshop!
Master the art of foraging and crafting your own herbal remedies from the plants and herbs we will collect, and learn about the traditions, customs and folklore associated with common native plants. The plants we'll be working with include meadowsweet, plantain, selfheal and many more!
The workshop will start at 11 am and finish around 4 pm.
Tickets are £45 (early bird) / £55 (full price) and places are strictly limited so booking is essential.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to other events if you change your mind or can no longer attend. In the unlikely event that we cancel the workshop, you will of course be given a full refund.
Once you have booked your place, we will email you with full details of the gathering, the address and what to bring with you. If you have any questions at all or any accessibility requirements you would like to discuss, please email thewildedges@pm.me
What’s included
Your workshop fee includes all crafting materials and expert facilitation. Herbal teas will be available on arrival and throughout the workshop.
What to bring
Please bring a foraging basket or bag (a carrier bag will do!) and a waterproof blanket or mat to sit on while we are outdoors, for your comfort, and a notebook and pen to jot down anything you might want to remember. We'll have a short break for lunch; this is not provided so please bring your own food.
Please read before booking
Please note that the workshop will take place both indoors and outdoors and you will be walking short distances over uneven ground. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather and terrain. You are asked to take responsibility for your own comfort, safety and welfare. By booking, you accept that it is your choice to take part in the workshop and that you take full responsibility for your decisions and actions.
Please contact thewildedges@pm.me if you have any requirements you would like to discuss before booking and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.
You do not need to have had any previous experience of foraging or herbalism - all you need is curiosity and an interest in plants / nature.
