About the Event

About the workshop

Embrace the quiet magic of winter in our Wild Healing workshop designed for the coldest season. Venture into the frost-kissed landscapes to uncover the resilience of plants such as blackthorn, pine, and sea buckthorn. Learn to forage plants even in the depths of winter and create herbal remedies that fortify the body against the season’s challenges, then deepen your connection with plant spirits by the warmth of the hearth through a sacred tea ceremony followed by a guided plant spirit meditation.

The workshop will start at 10.00 am and finish around 16.00 pm.

Tickets are £80 (early bird) / £95 (full price) and places are strictly limited so booking is essential. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to other events if you change your mind or can no longer attend. In the unlikely event that we cancel the workshop, you will of course be given a full refund.

Once you have booked your place, we will email you with full details of the gathering, the address and what to bring with you. If you have any questions at all or any accessibility requirements you would like to discuss, please email thewildedges@pm.me

What’s included

Your workshop fee includes all crafting materials and expert facilitation. Herbal teas will be offered on arrival and mid-afternoon and each participant is encouraged to bring a dish to share during as part of a communal lunch, fostering a sense of community and connection.

What to bring

Please bring a dish to share for our communal lunch, and a bottle of water. Please also bring a foraging basket or bag (a carrier bag will do!) and a waterproof blanket or mat to sit on while we are outdoors, for your comfort, and a notebook and pen to jot down anything you might want to remember.

Please read before booking

Please note that the workshop will take place both indoors and outdoors and you will be walking up to 2-3 miles over uneven ground throughout the day. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather and terrain. Each participant is asked to be responsible for their own comfort, safety and welfare; regrettably this workshop is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties. Please note that by booking, you accept that it is your choice to take part in the workshop and that you take full responsibility for your decisions and actions.

Please contact  thewildedges@pm.me if you have any requirements you would like to discuss before booking and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.

You do not need to have had any previous experience of foraging, herbalism or shamanic practice, all you need is an open heart and an open mind, and an interest in nature-based spirituality.

About me

I am an experienced and qualified shamanic practitioner and regularly hold sacred gatherings, where I guide people on shamanic journeys. I work with plant medicine both practically and spiritually, building deep relationships with locally growing native flowers, herbs and trees as plant spirit teachers.
