About the Event
Shamanism is the oldest form of spirituality and healing known to humankind. It helps us grow, heal and become empowered as individuals thorough our connection with nature and spirit.
This full day, experiential workshop provides an introduction to modern shamanism; you will learn about how shamanism is practised in different cultures, and how shamans work in their communities to help and heal, then explore its relevance to us today.
The workshop will equip you with key knowledge and techniques to empower you to start following your own personal shamanic path in the modern world. You will learn to journey to the shamanic worlds via the powerful beat of the drum and connect with your spirit guides, power animals and ancestors for guidance, wisdom and deep healing.
You will learn about the shamanic medicine wheel, the significance of the four directions and elements and how to create sacred space in the physical and spiritual worlds. Throughout the day, you will be introduced to simple but powerful techniques to help you bring a shamanic approach intro your daily spiritual practice, and we will end the day by creating a beautiful shamanic ceremony together.
