Sacred Gatherings

Our sacred gatherings mark the Celtic Wheel of the Year and combine the sharing of wisdom, ceremony, shamanic drumming and journeying to celebrate the turning of the wheel and work with the energies of the seasons and the elements for healing, cleansing, guidance and wisdom.

In the sacred space we create for each gathering, we meet together in celebration of community and connection, in a spirit of gratitude and awakening. Together, we walk in the footsteps of our ancient ancestors, and:

  • create a beautiful ceremony to honour that particular time of the year

  • learn about the ancient native traditions, folklore and customs relevant to the season

  • explore how the turning of the wheel of the year can support our personal and spiritual development

  • take a shamanic journey to tap into the wisdom of our guides

Each gathering is from 19.00 - 21.00, at my home in Papworth Everard, in Cambridgeshire. Herbal teas and seasonal refreshments will be provided.

No experience of drumming is needed but please feel free to bring a drum or rattle if you have one.

The cost is £20 per person. Places are strictly limited, so please book your place early to avoid disappointment.

  • Lughnasadh Drum Gathering
    Mon, 01 Aug
    Papworth Everard
    01 Aug, 19:00 – 21:00 BST
Papworth Everard, Papworth Everard CB23, UK
Lughnasadh marks the mid-point of summer when the sun is at its hottest, and the days feel long and lazy. Crops are ripening and it is a time for us to reflect on what we are harvesting from the efforts we have made over the past few months.
  • Autumn Equinox Drum Gathering
    Thu, 22 Sept
    Papworth Everard
    22 Sept, 19:00 – 21:00 BST
Papworth Everard, Papworth Everard CB23, UK
The Autumn Equinox is one of the two times of the year when day and night are of equal length. This was a busy time for our ancestors, as they gathered in the harvest and discarded what was not needed. We will use the energies of the equinox to help us let go of that which no longer serves us.
  • Samhain Drum Gathering
    Sun, 30 Oct
    Papworth Everard
    30 Oct, 19:00 – 21:00 GMT
Papworth Everard, Papworth Everard CB23, UK
Samhain is the time to reflect on endings and beginnings and acknowledge the importance of death in the cycle of life and our spiritual journey, and remind ourselves that awakening is about death and rebirth. It is also a time when we honour our ancestors.
  • Winter Solstice Drum Gathering
    Wed, 21 Dec
    Papworth Everard
    21 Dec, 19:00 – 21:00 GMT
Papworth Everard, Papworth Everard CB23, UK
The Winter Solstice marks the darkest time of the year, with the longest night and shortest day. On this day the sun is reborn and the days will soon begin to get longer. The Winter Solstice is also a time to take stock of what we have achieved, of stillness and rest.
